UK Search Engines
UK search engines are a good example of specific country search engines. In most cases, they exclude web sites which do not have a top level country domain name (such as .fr, .de, .uk). They can often produce very targeted search results.
Since
we are UK-based, we thought that we'd show a little parochialism by listing
some of the main UK search sites. Some of them offer global coverage,
but generally they focus on UK Web sites. It is common for US-based search
engines to open up local versions. Yahoo UK is a good example.
Mirago

You can confine your search to highly specific parts of the UK (e.g.
areas of a specific city).

All
Search Engines UK (a Meta Search Engine)
Let's you say how long you want to wait for the results. I said "5
seconds". It took over 60 seconds! But it was worth the wait.
Shows you from which search engine it got the results, and what position
the page is in the engine. Useful for ranking reports!
