Enthusiasm - the key to successSome years ago, in an idle moment, I entered a competition in a local trade development magazine. You had to put several key business success factors in order of importance, and then in less than 10 words, say what you personally regarded as your most important key to success - you know the sort of thing! Sorting the pre-set factors in order of importance was not difficult. But what was it that had made me reasonably successful. After some thought, I wrote one word: ENTHUSIASM! Let's face it - if you aren't enthusiastic about your business, how can you expect other people to be. And that includes customers, prospects, employees, suppliers and business associates - all of whom are vital to your business. It's your job to see that all of these people are motivated to help you and your business. I won the competition. Guess what the prize was? A place on a sales training course!
