How to choose a good business opportunity
by Dennis

There are many business opportinities around - many of them scams. Here's some advice on how to spot the good opportunities.
In the USA,
the federal government announced a crack down on the Internet's "get
rich quick" sites. The sites that the feds have targeted are pure
con jobs designed at separating you from your money as quickly as possible.
Fortunately,
there are a lot of very solid, reliable business opportunities on the
Internet. Here is how you can tell the winners from shadowy operations
that will simply disappoint you.
- Forget
anything that promises you big money for little or no work. A reliable
business opportunity will show how you can work hard to build a steady
income. Expect to earn a few hundred a month for part-time work. If
you are willing to put your all into the opportunity full-time, you
can expect to eventually earn a sizeable income that can easily surpass
what you could earn with a regular job.
- Opportunities
come and go. The vast majority of new programs vanish within three
years. An alarming number of people have worked for months to get their
organization humming only to see the company go out of business. Look
for a company that is still doing well after at least five years.
- Make sure
you have products or services that are competitive in the marketplace.
No matter how much golden hype accompanies a product, you can't sell
it if your customer's neighborhood Walmart offers something better at
a lower price.
- Beware
of opportunities that promise you riches just for signing up people.
In the end, products and services must be sold for the company to make
any money.
- Look for
an opportunity that will let you combine smart Internet promotion with
the chance to sell to your friends and neighbors. As wonderful as the
almost-free Internet is, you will still make a large part of your sales
to people in your community.
- Finally,
and this is the most important, choose a business opportunity you really
believe in. You can sell anything to anybody as long as you truly believe
the product or service is an excellent value. Go with a company that
will make you proud to show their products to your best friends.
