Who runs Marketing Magic?

Marketing Magic is owned and operated by a UK-based management & marketing consultancy, Traynor Kitching & Associates ("TKA"). Our root website is at www.tka.co.uk

TKA has been around for quite a few years - since 1985, to be precise. In our earlier years we were a highly successful strategic marketing consultancy. We helped over 200 small to medium sized businesses to get their act together, marketing-wise.

Ten years later, the rot set in. Yes, we discovered the Internet. It ripped us apart. And that was a couple of years or so before Bill Gates "discovered" the Net.

So, what went wrong? Why is TKA not as cash-rich as Microsoft? We were there first, weren't we?

I guess the slick answer is that we weren't too hungry. I (Ian Traynor, the Senior Partner in TKA) am not fixated on material wealth. I am fixated on enjoying my work.

And a lot of my satisfaction comes with working with smaller businesses. Maybe BG has a different agenda!

So, that's the background to this Marketing Magic web site. It's not quite a one-man band. There's a good number of like-minded people associated with us, sharing the satisfaction of helping smaller businesses to become more successful in marketing themselves, both online and offline.

And that's the benefit to you!
